1965 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Description

I have for sale a 1965 Bel Air 2 door sedan. There IS a lien on the car. My bank will next day air title oncethe funds areelectronically transferred to pay it off. You still have time to buy it to take to Good Guys Columbus! This car was built to keep NOT to flip! This car has all the original panels, floors and non of them need replaced, this car is straight! I have added several pictures of underneath, I have a few more that I couldn't put in listing including picture of factory four speed hole!! The pictures with the snow were just taken a couple of months ago! This car is NOT a show car! The paint is probably 15 years old but still looks great! Has some minor blemishes/bubbling still looks better than a ten footer! There is a 8" crack in the windshield that starts at the bottom of the rh side of the windshield. This car was an original 396 L-78 425 horse power big block four speed (15611)! This car was originally two tone (paint code SV) Sierra Tan/Cameo Beige with Fawn (863) interior. This car retains all the factory emblems in great shape and still has the factory "Police" or "Caprice" heavy duty power brakes (with factory small booster to clear the big block) this car stops better than my new pickup! All the chrome is in excellent shape! The car still has the factory floor shift column and the small brake pedal but the clutch pedal is gone, Z-bar bracket is still on frame. The four speed hump and hole for the four speed shifter are still present! There were only 1,838 L-78 396/425 full size Chevy's made in 1965, that includes Biscayne, Bel Air, Impala, and Caprice and most L78 engines were put in Impalas and Biscaynes. I do not have any documentation that it was a factory L78, just evidence on the car, I suggest you come look at the car yourself. Shows 9,300 miles on the odometer but I don't know if that is actual, I had an expert look at it and said he thought it could be the original miles. Title says exceeds mechanical limits. This car has all new mechanicals, rebuilt front end (ball joints, center link, inner/outer tie rods) 1350 u joints, custom drive shaft to handle the power and weight, 3.73 12 bolt posi with Moser axles and 5/8" studs and correct factory big block DUAL upper control arms on the rear! New interior with late 60's GM A body buckets! I have all documentation on this build, like cam card, engine paperwork, etc. plus over $18,600.00 in 2003 money in receipts! The current engine is a GM Performance Parts 454 HO 425 horse power (four bolt main, forged crank, forged 7/16 rods, forged pistons, one piece rear main seal, 2.19/1.88 rect port open chamber heads) with a complete valve train upgrade including a Crane .598/.610 hydraulic roller cam, Crane lifters, crane valve spring, locks and retainers, Crane push rods, Harland Sharp full roller rockers, Moroso stud girdles, Pete Jackson gear drive! Edelbrock Victor Jr., Demon 850, complete MSD ignition (billet distributor, 6A box, SS Blaster coil, Soft Touch rev limiter) now makes 550 horse power! The transmission is a TCI full manual reverse valve body turbo 400, with TCI Super Street Fighter 10" conveter with anti ballooning plate! Huge Be Cool aluminum radiator, huge transmission cooler. Full Autometer Ultra Light gauges, new interior, everything works as it should, I drove it from Akron when I bought it to Columbus with NO issues, speedo is dead on, I ran a 12.62 in the quarter mile on the regular radial T/A's babying it out of the hole! Much, Much more! For sale locally so auction could end early. This car DOESN'T have rubber fuel line, it DOESN'T have $.99 plastic fuel filter, it DOESN'T have universal flex hose for radiator hose, it DOESN'T have a turbo 350, it DOESN'T have a ten bolt with welded spider gears, it DOESN'T have a junk yard motor with a flat tappet cam, it DOESN'T have used wheels with mismatched tires, SO DON'T OFFER MONEY LIKE IT DOES! I don't want to sell this car, there is no car I would much rather have, I need money, I have had health problems andseveral financial hardships hit me all at one time! I NEED TO SELL!!! Whenever I go to the drag strip, there are at least 20 people checking out my car! Not a belly button car, attracts attention everywhere. Please feel free to call or text me, Mike at (614)364-6537. Please do not waste my time, my financial problems are already stressing me out, don't need dreamers wearing me out! Winning bidder responsible for shipping, payment in full must be received before car is picked up. Sold AS-IS no warranty expressed or implied.

If you don't have all the cash to buy this awesome '65 Bel Air, that needs nothing, you should check with J.J. Best Bank! They financed me with only 20% down with a less than 700 credit score for $350.00 a month for 60 months! They even sent out an inspector to check the car out before I looked at it to make sure it was worth the risk! I didn't even look at the car before I paid for it because I thought if it is worth it to the bank, it's going to be worth it to me! 1 800 USA 1965

I just do not get it! I have a job where I am able to pretty much surf the web all day so I am on eBay, Craigs list, Racing Junk, etc. looking at cars from the mid 1950's to the mid 1970's and it absolutely floors me to see four doors, small block cars, clones, primered cars, cars with hokey paint color that has no business on older cars, cars with $50.00 rims, jankey modern interiors with crazy color and pattern that could not look more incorrect, A/C cars with half the A/C gone, wires and tubes just hanging there selling for more than what I want for this incredible car that is painted a 1965 Chevrolet color has a GM interior appropriate to this car, no junk parts and no one has even asked a question, no one has come to look at it (I think the first person that looks at this car will buy it!) Yeah, that's right, the high bidder last time I listed it, never asked a single question and never looked at the car!I just don't get it! How can tasteless junk sell for more than what I am willing to take formy rare, no corner cut, tastefully modified big block Bel Air, built with all the best parts? It's like I've entered some bizarre world where junk brings money and only tasteless, gaudy junk sells!
