1960 Chevrolet C-10 Short Box Fleet Side Description

Absolutely beautiful 1960 Chevy C-10 full restoration with no expense spared. I don't even know where to start, this was a dream that was built with a lot of passion in it and not a corner was cut. Below I'll try to list out all the major points of the truck. I'm sure I'll forget some stuff but feel free to ask questions after reading through. I have full documentation of the build with pictures of every stage and receipts/manuals for almost everything. There are very few miles on this truck since the overhaul and it truly runs and drives like a modern vehicle. It's amazing!
Body - The body is laser straight and all metal with no filler, we added metal to the doors and other panels to make the gaps all nice and even unlike how these were from the factory. The bed end caps were welded to the box sides to eliminate the ugly gap between the two panels and the stake pockets were welded up and shaved as well. There is a roll pan welded in and the reverse lights were filled as well. We shaved the nasty tailgate chains and hooks from the outside of the truck and replaced them with a button system located inside the bed for a clean look and better operation. We changed the hood and grille to a 1963 C10 set up just because I think it looks better personally and it's held up by a set of 700$ Eddie Motorsports billet hood hinges with hydraulic assist instead of the old spring set up. The fenders are new, the hood is new, the bulk head of the box is new, rockers are new because they were dented, not rusty, wheel tubs are new and the cab corners are new. The paint is a 2015 Mercedes Designo Silver with the White accents being a 55 Ford White. The bed of the truck is beautiful ash wood custom mixed stain to match the interior with the stainless strips that have all the bolts hidden. All new glass, seals and rubber throughout the whole truck.
Chassis - Most know that the 60-62 C10 trucks were torsion bar suspension in the front and that's why you don't see a lot of modified suspension trucks of those years. This one is sitting on a Fatman Fabrication front chassis with big brakes and Ridetech Shockwave coil over air ride in the front and Ridetech bags and shocks in the rear. The rear also has a small C Notch to allow the suspension travel at low ride height. It has the digital air ride controller installed flush into the dash where the ash tray is and it has the 3 preset ride height buttons along with the ability to control each wheel individually. It has Mustang Fox body rack and pinion power steering with a custom linkage that is hooked up to a beautiful Ididit chrome steering column. All of the air ride components like the valve block and the tank are located between the frame rails in the rear of the truck. The suspension system is also 100% fail safe and rub safe. This truck will turn lock to lock completely aired out and has no ground clearance issues either if it were to air out on the road. Like I keep stressing this truck is done right.
Engine/Trans - Mid 60's 327 all rebuilt with a semi wild cam and stainless steel headers and dressed in all the best. Has Concept One pulley system with one wire alternator and it is all painted to match the truck. I have the build and engine dyno sheets for the motor. Fresh rebuilt Turbo 350 trans also painted to match the truck with a 2500 stall. It is converted to 5 lug with a 72 Blazer rear end.
Interior - the interior is completely painted base clear to match the outside. The seat is the original bench that has been stripped down, frame painted and new modern style foam has been added for support and comfort. It is a baseball glove like material that is made to show stress and wear in the tucks and bends. The door panels and sun visors have been wrapped in the same material as the seat. The carpet is new silver with matching floor mats. The steering wheel is a late 60's Chevelle wood wheel. All heat and blower and fan work and are new with new controls. The gauge cluster has been all disassembled and reworked and all gauges work and are hooked up. The air ride controller is flushed into the ash tray door and it fits and looks perfect there, the ash tray still functions but you can't tell it's there (kind of cool you can hide your keys in there at shows.).
Electrical - The whole truck has been rewired with an American Autowire kit. All factory style plugs and terminals were used. All of the exterior lighting on the truck is LED for a sharp brighter look and the headlights are much better than any factory bulb light that fits these trucks. Glove box light and all gauge cluster lighting is new and works as well. Turn signal indicators and everything work as new.
Wheels/Tires - Mobsteel 18" Steelies color matched to the white accents on the truck wrapped in custom made 245/45/18 Toyo tires.
