Chevrolet Master Town Sedan
1938 Chevrolet Master Town Sedan Description
Older restoration, no rust or bondo. Very straight. Less than 500 miles on engine rebuilt to factory specs. Recent clutch, pressure plate & throwout bearing, complete brake job, new battery. Brand new side glass and window channel. Knee-action shocks were rebuilt by Acorn a few years ago. This car was owned by a long-time VCCA member for many years, and was well cared-for. Beautiful car, great driver. Only reason for selling is that we have a number of cars in our collection and this one isn't driven enough, and my wife has just purchased an older convertible and there's not enough room for both.
NOTE: The photos were taken before the new side glass and window channel was installed. The windows are crystal clear now.
Paint is very good, as are tires. Interior was redone many years ago and has stood up well. No rips, tears or apparent wear.
If you're some distance away, I can arrange to have the car delivered to my mechanic's shop to put up on his hoist if you have someone you'd like to have look it over, such as a VCCA member or an independent party.
No trades, please. The car is also available for sale locally, so I must reserve the right to end the listing early.
Call (608) 852-9688 or email. Please leave a voicemail if I'm unavailable, and I'll return your call as soon possible.
If you're very interested in the car, I hope you'll call instead of just bidding. I also hope you'll satisfy yourself that the car is as I've described it (or better) by having someone look it over before sending the balance due.
I would recommend you get a shipping quote fromwww.excellentautotransport.com. They are very good, and reasonable.
