1971 CHEVY NOVA
1971 Chevrolet Nova Description
1971 Chevy Nova. This is a complete car - NO MOTOR. This is a factory 350 car (the radiator support in the trunk still has the factory tag). It has a turbo 350 transmission which is still in the car.
All the chrome trim and emblems are all there. The interior is original and complete - it needs to be redone. All the doors close solidly and windows work well. It has good tires on it.
It has factory power steering and A/C. The alternator and starter are still under the hood, dual exhaust pipes under the car, the radiator is in the trunk It has been sitting for 15 yrs waiting to be restored. Its all original which makes it an excellent candidate.
I want you to see exactly what you are bidding on, the clear coat is peeled off and sandblasted by the wind, so I have included the good, bad and ugly details. The body has no rot and is in really good shape except for the following:
The body has excellent floor boards, minor surface rust in the trunk, a little bit of rust issue behind the windshield next to the VIN about 2 inches in the corner. It has a good windshield so I was not going to repair it at present. Behind the rear wheels on lower fender, has about a 4 inch REPAIR where rock, sand and debris had kicked up. Unfortunately, the person we purchased the car from scraped the fence along the passenger door side about a half inch deep the length of the door (see detailed pics of these areas).
