Up for sale we have a 1966 Chevy Chevelle SS clone. This Chevelle has the look of a super sport with the badging but started life as a Malibu. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and heartbeat of the Chevy, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Chevelle. The body is straight and covered in Tuxedo Black that shows well with a deep shine. The bumpers have been replaced along with some of the other chrome. It does have all the SS Emblems along with the SS Hood. The trim around the glass, the grill and the tail panel trim is in good condition but is not new. When restored the weather stripping was replaced and a new windshield seal was put in. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 18" and 20" Raceline Wheels with new tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of the '66. On the inside it has the bucket seats and console with the correct T Shifter. All the seats, carpet, door panels, and headliner are done in black and look like new. The dash all looks stock with the exception of the upgraded radio and a set of aftermarket gauges added under it. The trim on the dash and roof rail is in good condition.
Finally, we will look at the heartbeat Chevy. Under the hood everything looks nice with the inner fenders and firewall being painted satin black. The power comes from an early 90's 454 that has a set of Aluminum Heads and an aftermarket cam. It also has an aluminum intake with a Holley Carb. The valve covers are a set of tall chrome with the Chevrolet in bossed in them to match the breather. It has a set of headers with 3" Duals and Flow Master Mufflers. Also, it has Power Steering and Power Brakes with Four Wheel Drums. The trans is a 400 Turbo mated to a 10 Bolt Rear End. The bottom has been cleaned and painted with the floor pans appearing to be factory.
