1972 Corvette, Barn find, all original, super clean
1972 Chevrolet Corvette Description
This is truly a barn find 1972 Corvette. It has had one owner in the last 40 years (not me) and was last on the road in 1986. It is, of course, all matching numbers with 78,000 original miles and what looks like all original paint except in the back around the taillights. It has the 350/200 hp base motor and PS, PB, Tilt/Tele column and automatic transmission. The body is fantastic except where he let the nose roll under the back bumper of a truck and it put 2 or 3 small holes in the front fenders and scraped the hood. I was planning on leaving it or just touching up the spots. The car runs and drives good, but could use a tune up. It runs a little rough at idle. The headlights and wiper door both work. The wiper door is a little slow on the open, but is getting better. The frame and bird cage are excellent. The interior is all original. Even the original spare tire and jack are there. This is truly an exceptional car that should go to a good home. A true Gentleman's Corvette.
