1968 Chevrolet Corvette Description

Here is your new toy just waiting for you to click the mouse and win it! This car will be sold to the high bidder and it goes off ebay this coming Thursday night at approx 10:45 central standard time. Car is in Norman Oklahoma. Bidding starting at just 1968 with no reserve. I have personally driven this car over one hundred miles and a little over a hundred miles per hour and you wont believe how fast it will get to 100!!! This car has a fresh 350 with a roudy lumpy cam that sounds so good through the Hooker header side pipes. I will make a video in a day or so and post it on youtube so you can hear it! This car is a mans car with very little in the creature comfort catagory, Its got manual steering. a manual transmission, and just juice brakes no power to assist so you have to step on em not like the power brakes in most every other car. The car already has had the expensive things done like a new engine and a smooth quite great shifting four speed, custom adjustable bars just below the half shafts, a fiberglass transverse rear spring (spring is stiff and ride is firm), super wide fender flares and wheels and tires to match! The car is fast for what it is and really sets you back in the seat when you want it to. Its just a really good combinitation of power gears and rear end gears. It will cruise easy at 65 mph while tacking just a little over 2200 rpms. The previous owner said he knew for a fact that the car came with a 427 engine but I dont know how to tell for sure. The tack redlines at 5300 prms. And speaking of the tack it has the correct tack drive distributor (accell I believe) so the tack and speedometer work great. The car is not perfect or am I saying it is. It has some blemishes in the paint and I did see one crack by the headlight. This is a car you can drive every day and enjoy while you finish it and make it yours. The sky is the limit and the sky is what you will see most days you drive it!! It does come with a convertible top and frame but its not installed in the car at this time. Lucky winner to either come after it or pay for shipping. Attention buyer, I took a few hours and gave the car a wash and wax. The last five or so pics of the car is how it now looks. Also forgot to mention the car has a Be Cool radiator and never runs over 180 even in the hot hundred degree days we have here in Oklahoma. We have been driving the car around and noticed the right front brake caliper is leaking fluid. We will replace the caliper before the car leaves.
