This is a 1971 Blazer purchased in WY then driven to OK where we restored it. The restoration took 3 years. There was no bondo used on the body, all damaged metal was replaced with new parts. The majority of the chrome is new. Below is a list of the items that are new and rebuilt.
New: Engine 350 ci, 320 hp GM crate engine less than 100 hours run time. Monroe shocks. Hooker ceramic coated headers. 20" tires and wheels. Master cylinder, brake vacuum booster, new front disc and pads/ rear brake shoes. Warn locking hubs. Complete exhaust system. Custom steering wheel. Sound system.
Rebuilt: Transmission, transfer case, original radiator, front and rear drivelines, rebuilt and balanced. The rear seat is original but the front is from 1989 PU adapted to bolt into the Blazer, giving front driver and passenger shoulder harness.
The paint is orange pearl with metal flake. It really shines in the sun!
I was ask how it drives on the highway? My answer, "It drives like a '71 Blazer". What else could I have said!
This vehicle is for sale locally and will be removed from ebay if local sale is made.
