Vintage Motorcars is proud to present this 1966 Chevrolet Nova Wagon. This is clearly one of the nicest Nova Wagons you will find anywhere!
This car received an extensive restoration that cost much more than the car’s value, and has only been driven4052 miles since. All the bugs have been sorted out, but it still looks like a fresh build!
This awesome Wagon was born with a V-8 and Powerglide; however the transmission has been upgraded to a TH350 for that extra gear. The engine runs perfectly with no hesitation or smoke and cruises perfectly without a miss. The transmission also works just as you would expect; performing nice, solid shifts as you accelerate and perfectly downshifts when it is supposed to.
The sheet metal is outstanding, and the paint is near perfect. The Bright Red base coat / clear coat shines like a show car, and all the chrome has either been re-plated or replaced. During the restoration; all the glass was also replaced including a perfectly working POWER rear window! The floor pans were replaced at one time, and clearly done by a professional. The underside has been detailed to show-quality standards, and it is quite clear that this car was done right! The front suspension has all been upgraded, and includes a fully adjustable sway bar and poor man's power steering bearings instead of bushings for easier steering.
The interior is completely new from headliner to carpet done in the correct patterns and surfaces for 1966. Of course you need some amenities that weren’t standard in 1966, so seat belts and a digital AM/FM/AUX stereo have been added for safety and comfort. Speaking of comfort… when is the last time you saw a Chevy II with Factory A/C? This one has it, and it works PERFECTLY! The exhaust system is new dual, and has a slight rumble to it. This Wagon also features disc brakes in the front, and drums in the rear to assist with stopping power. Other additions to the car during the restoration include an Edelbrock Intake, Edelbrock Carburetor with electric choke and a high output alternator.
This top-quality build is all sitting on a set of Ridler 695 chrome wheels with Falken tires that have less than 500 miles since new.
This is as close to a new 1966 Chevy II Wagon that you will find. This is a no-excuse car that will ‘wow’ the spectators at the car shows, and put a smile on your face every time you drive it!
