1954 Chevrolet Pickup
No rust and accident free. The restoration was a body off process. The pickup bed sheet metal is new with a new wood kit.
The suspension is stock with 3" lowering blocks in the rear and a dropped axle up front. The front end is tight. There are new shocks all around.
It has a strong, rebuilt 350 Chevrolet engine, turbo 350 transmission and 9" Ford rear end. The shifter is a Lokar floor shifter - looks almost stock.
The car runs strong, doesn't get hot. The transmission is smooth and positive. No strange noises. Has an HEI distributor.
Body is straight and not a "lead sled" or a quick bondo job. The frame is clean - no undercoat to hide issues.
No power steering and no power brakes.
Chrome and stainless steel, mostly new bumper to bumper.
New, 15" reverse rims, new tires (295/50X15 rear and 235/60X15 up front).
The paint is a quality job
The glass is a tinted and the interior is stock for '54 - or close to it.
No radio or delete plate, has a heater (incorrect for year and not installed, but will work in the truck).
Driver wing window handle is broken and window needs to be replaced.
Passenger window needs help when rolling up, may need some track adjustment and has some edge chipping as a result.
Passenger door needs some adjustment as seen in photos.
Hood and front fenders are not aligned perfectly and a day with a good body man could fix that-they are not bad just not perfect.
Fun to drive and gets thumbs up everywhere you go!
It has a clean Oregontitle.
