1971 Chevrolet Custom C10 Long Bed - Rebuilt from the ground up
1971 Chevrolet C-10 Description
I have spent 2.5 years restoring this old beauty. Everything is new top to bottom, inside and out, except the last thing needed is a new Chevy Seat cover, or bucket seats if you desire.. 350 just rebuilt w/ new Lunati Voo Doo street performance cam and Voo Doo roller rocker lifters, valves, engine was completely dismantled, new bearings, seals throughout, new 600 Holley Carb, steering box, starter, fuel pump, master cylinder, brake booster w/ vacuum pump for fast stops (never a need to pump brakes), battery, 4-core radiator, water pump, all front suspension plus shocks, springs, brakes, tires, wheels, - you name it - it's all new. Have $22,000 invested. 2,600 miles since engine and truck rebuild. Not a complete "frame-off" rebuild. Removed bed, doors, hood, front fenders and spent over 100 hours of tedious sanding, cleaning, All frame from front to back and underneath all fenders repainted in non-corrosive and protectant black. Two coats of top-selling primer, two coats of 2015 Ford Mustang metallic grey and three coats of clear coat brought to a mirror shine, dual flow masters, rhino-lined bed, all new glass around, window and door regulators, rebuilt gauges, all new interior parts. Too much to list. Runs like a beast (if that's what you like). I personally drive her with respect. Great deep throaty sound from Flow Masters. So smooth on highway. Why am I selling her? Well, I will be 67 in a few months and although I love this girl, I must consider a vehicle (truck) that will be economical and take me on many trips to explore the U.S. Parting with her will be sad - but, it's time for me to move on.I am located in the Greenville, SC area. OH! And all repairs, etc. were done by top professionals in my area.
