1969 Camaro Pro street RS SS full tubbed street strip drag BBC ford 9" rr
1969 Chevrolet Camaro Description
*** Please have all of your finances in order before you buy, this is the 2nd time I've had to relist the car because of that. Thanks! ***
I bought this car last winter with the intentions of give it some upgrades and drag racing it and my plans have changed. I don't know a lot about it, but I'll list everything I was told and do know about it. I have never drag raced this car and have no idea what kind of times it runs? Motor should be in the 600+ HP range and the car should run 10's???
ENGINE: Is supposed to be a 472ci BBC with 12:1 compression. I have the cam card(0.731 int./0.731exh, 302/310 duration, center line 108 degrees) Brodix aluminum heads, high volume/highpressureoil pump, electric water pump, electric fuel pump, aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, MSD billet distributor, MSD 7AL box, Brodix valve covers, Edelbrock intake, Holley Carb., full headers, and full 3" exhaust.
TRANSMISSION: Is a turbo 350 with about a 3000 stahl converter, trans brake, shift kit, and not sure on the rest ???
RR END: is a ford 9" with 4.10 gears, 4 link, coil-overs, Wilwood disc brakes, and back-halfed full tub.
FR END: Is basically all stock with stock disc brakes.
BODY: Is all steel. The hood that is on it is a new(unpainted) 4" cowl and I do have the stock 2" that is painted silver with black stripes to match the car. Trunk has full sheet metal tubs and floor. The rollcage is currently a 6 point(the previous owner cut the door bars off that made it an 8 point) The body is good and solid and appears to have quarters put on it at one time and the openings stretched a bit for the bigger tires. The lights work, but in true RS fashion the headlight covers don't open bythemselves....
PAINT: The paint job is "Driver Quality" It's a drag car and the paint is older with a few imperfections and rock chips.(please see pictures, last 2 are the worst spots) It does shine up good and is presentable.
GLASS: Is all in good shape with no cracks.
INTERIOR: The headliner is in good shape. The center console and dash need some TLC. Carpet is decent. Seats are original and decent but are missing the headrests. The rear cover panel over the wheel tubs needs some TLC. The aftermarket gauges work, the factory ones do not. The seat belt is out of date.
TIRES: The rears are 31x15.50x15 mickey Thompson sportsmans and there about half tread(there is room to go wider,at leastan 18.50 wide) Fronts are 165/15 radials and are newer.
WHEELS: Are WELD Racing Drag Lites, 15x3.5 front and 15x15 rears. There is 1 broken wheel stud on each side.

This would make a good street/strip car. There is a lot to work with, if you wanted to take it to a different level either way?
I have described this car to the best of my ability, both good and bad. I don't know a lot about it, but message me thru eBay and I'll try to find out the answer to your question, or you can call me @ (651) 775-7887, if I don't answer, please leave me a message and I'll call you back a.s.a.p.
Thanks!
