1970 Chevrolet C-10 The Best Description

This is the cleanest, neatest, baddest C10. It really does have it all.I am only selling it because i have a 20 year itch to own a 1959 El Camino. If you have one to trade contact me. I am not interested in any other vehicles. 4108617708
Every piece on this truck was touched, replaced, rebuilt or removed. It was a COMPLETE frame off nut and bolt build. It has been used as a show truck and fair weather cruiser. It isnt only show. It has a lot of go also,, alot! It does not need anything, everything is as it should be. It still looks like it was just built. There are no scratches, rust or dents, only flawless perfectly laid and rubbed out paint. Its chopped, tubbed, bagged, shaved, customized and fast. It rides and handles amazing thanks to this air suspension and custom parts.
I will list a lot of things done but cant go over them all as it would take forever, really it would, i type slow.
Nut n Bolt build3" chop topshaved door handles, gas tank fill, antenna, bumper bolts, and tag area on the front bumper ( look at a stock one and then mine). It is also closer to the truck now.The front and back side marker lights are recessed also. The paint is show winning, it is smooth like glass and reflects like a mirror. All of the steel is new except the cab and the bed header panel. The bed is Oak with polished stainless steel stripsExcept for engine, trans, rear and suspension every nut bolt and screw are Stainless Steel. Its a pleasure to work on!The frame, suspension, motor, rear and rad support were stripped and painted Terquois.
The engine was built by a very well liked engine builder. It has all the best parts. It is from a 1970 Corvette. Its a lt-1, ballanced and blueprinted, and a healthy cam. It runs amazing, perfect and doesnt smoke or knock or anything ill. It makes about 425 HP. The exhaust is made of Sanderson Headers, full dual custom stainless exhaust all the way to the SS tips. It sounds really tough. Because it is.The Transmission is a TH 400 4 speed auto trans built by B&M. It has manual shift and reverse pattern. It has a 2800 stall converter. It shifts very firm. The rear end is a 1957 ford 9" rear. 57 is the first year of the 9" and has the shortest narrowest length of any factory 9" rear. The center is from a 87 truck. And the gears are 4.11. Its an open rear, not spooled so its great for the street. Its stron, fas, smooth and runs Amazing, every time you run it.
The suspension is made up of 1987 c1500 front suspension, with 2" drop Beltech Spindles and sway bar. The bushings are all poly Prothane. The rear is drop leafs, axle flip, c notched and boxed frame. All of this sits on Air Ride Technologies top of the line bags. Full ride tech air system. 4 way controlls are mounted in the glove box with gauges. The tank and compressors are mounted under the body as is the fuel cell. The front goes to the ground and the rear goes low enough to make the front and rear even. The wheels are Billet Specialties. Rears are 15x12 and the front are 15x8, old school style. The rear tires are 29x15.5R15 Pro Streets. The fronts are brand new M/T tires. The system works wel, doesnt leak and makes it ride and handle very very good. It all works well together.
4 wheel power boosted slotted disc brakes make it stop smooth and fast every stop.
The interior is all custom with re building a 91 c1500 seat, door panels and headliner to match, carpet, paint and dash pad. Custom gauges, all work like theyre supposed to. Some billet pieces help along the way. The radio is a little outdated but is a pioneer and plays well, but no usb or bluetooth. If you buy it now i will replace it with a top of the line new head unit, as a thank you.It does sound good.
The front lights have been upgraded to H4 bulbs and housing. Clear front marker lights, red rear side marker lights. The rear tail lights are led and i have another set with non led and old school blue dots in the center that will go along with it. It has the half moons on the front also.
Everything was built with extreme attention to detail. This in not some average build. Its meant to be of old school style, but has some modern touches to make driving much better. The paint job is world class in, out and under. It gets all of the attention you can handle and then some, sounds rides and looks amazing, and best of all its done and needs nothing. It has had all of the tricks thrown at it and is in a class few ever achieve.
Remember i am only selling my amazing ride to get a 1959 El Camino. This is the only reason, and isnt going to be easy to let go of. Maybee someone wants to make a trade deal for one, or can arrange something. If not it will just sell outright, and thats fine too, i will be able to find and finally own one.The truck will come with many other things, and parts. I have another hood that is in stock form but already painted the same if someone decides they like it better without the hood with the scoop. It is in perfect condition wrapped in blankets sitting in rafters protected untill then.
Good luck to those will be interested. I am asking almost parts value only, your getting years of very meticulous painstaking building, welding, cutting, installing painting, and finishing for free. And the baddest, cleanes, most custom C10 anywhere around. You can reliably get in it every time without worry or problems. It only has just under 9,000 miles since built and looks like it was just built. It is hard to get the true color of it to show up in pictures, i never understood why but pics usually make it look more blue than it is. In the pictures i am posting you will see 2 pictures of it in a field next to a tree from a show. This color is the most accurate to the truck of all the pictures. Its just a shade more green than most pics show. The pictures of it inside of the building were taken this weekend at Carlisle All Truck Nationals.
Thanks for looking at my truck!
