The reserve is set for $1 over the opening bid amount. Any bid over the opening amount will win the truck.
This is a 1968 Chevrolet K10 that was in Montana the majority of its life (I received the Montana title last transferred in 1974). I have performed some basic maintenance on it to get it running and driving as it should. Clean clear Ohio title in my name.
The truck is extremely solid and looks to be very original. Great floors and bracing, excellent rockers, cab corners in very good shape, doors are in very good shape. There is only a couple minor, minor thin areas.
The frame vin, glovebox vin, title, and protect-o-plate all match. It is a very basic truck with the only options being 4wd, am radio, and a V8. The truck has the original 307, 3OTT transmission, Rockwell T-221 transfer case, dana 44 front and GM 12 bolt rear. The hood on the vehicle is not original, but from the story I got from the previous owner, itwas put on several decades ago so it does match the truck. All I did cosmetically was clean it up real nice and put a coat of polish on by hand.
I have performed the below maintenance and have a few parts waiting to go on
Plugs, wires, cap, rotor
Air filter
Valve cover gaskets
Drained and changed all fluids (front and rear axle, t case, trans, engine)
I have 4 shocks that I will either put on or send with the truck
I have a new weather stripping kit that will go with the truck
Runs smooth, purrs at idle. Took carburetor apart, cleaned, adjusted float level, tuned idle mixture. Runs great.
The truck runs and drives pretty well, it could still use some work to improve it (3OTT shifter is loose but functional, there are some rattle I have yet to track down, 3rd gear syncro is worn, etc). The only thing the interior needs to be complete would be a factory style rubber floor mat.
Running/driving functional truck. Looks awesome in person!I have been cruising around in it and using it for some house projects here and there. NO RESERVE, the truck must go!!
