1949 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Sedan 4-Door blue flame 235
1949 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe Description
I have had this car since February 2007 and have done a lot of work to it. I got it from a friend of mine who got it from the original owners wife. The original owner bought it new it 1949 and then passed away in 1952. His wife didn't have a license and it sat in a garage in Oregon till 2006. When I got it my buddy had not really done anything to it so I went through and completely rebuilt the brake system. The fuel lines where cleaned and blown out with a new fuel tank installed. I still have the original 216 engine for the car but I left water in the block and cracked the block. It can be brazed because the 216 has a vented radiator cap. For now I have a 1956 Blue Flame 235 in the car. I was told it is the 125HP version. It is nice because of the extra power but it has a full pressure oil system, the 216 is a splash and spray oiling system. The car runs and drives but it still needs gone through to be more of a daily driver. I have so many extra parts for the car I could fill up the bed of a pick up truck. I know I am leaving a bunch of stuff out so if there is any questions please feel free to ask. Thank you so very much for the interest and time to look at my ad, have a great day. I would prefer the buyer to come look at it in person but I will work with anyone over the phone as much as needed. The buyer is fully responsible for shipping and I will work with the shipping company as much as I can.
