1956 Chevy Bel-Air 2 dr. Hardtop. PROJECT!
Previous owner for the last 50 years! It was last tagged in 1970. Proving the low mileage.
283 v-8 3 speed manual with rare Factory power brakes.
It needs a Complete Restoration OBVIOUSLY and it does not run. Rolls free for loading. The engine is stuck, the gas tank is shot and the left rear leaf spring is broke. For as rough as it looks it is still pretty solid...A trip to the media blaster would show how solid it really is and change its appearance a great deal. It will need both inner and outer rear quarters at the very least and the drivers side front floor section. I'm sure the roof, doors, fenders, hood and deck lid are useable. I have fixed far worse.
The only items I see missing are the lower quarter panel chrome, I'm still looking for them and the original air cleaner. I have the fender and door chrome. The jack is present but no spare wheel and tire. Not bad for being stored away for the last 46 years. The interior is shot but complete. Nice steering wheel and stock radio. The glass is good except for the passenger side windows. The bumpers are included but will need re-chromed or replaced as with the grille, taillights and hood trim
