This is an original car, that does NOT require restoration. You cannot duplicate originality at any cost.

This is a beautiful, RED convertible. It runs exceptionally well, is VERY fast, and has a great sound.

This isn't a car that you would want if you didn't want to attract LOTS of attention, as it turns heads everywhere it goes...And it doesn't just have the good looks about it, it has the shear muscle to back it up...

The prior owner had this car maintained regularly by a caretaker. If something broke, he fixed it.Not a trailer queen, but a period correct roadster that could be driven every day...

This car has the original 283 engine and automatic transmissio, even the carburetor is original .This is an exceptionally potent combination in a car of this weight, and the car has very robust performance.

The prior owner purchased this car in 1981 from Pat Patterson Volvo here in Memphis,Tn when a local doctor traded it in. The doctor was the original owner and I have documentation since 1981. The original mileage is 114,000 since new.

The interior has a nice patina about it,and in most aspects, it appears to be original. The dash details are nice, the gauges and dash look great. All of the instrumentation work, including all of the illumination. Even the under-dash lighting works.

This is a great car for this Summer and Fall. Again, it's ready to go...

I'm not claiming it's perfect, it's 55 years old..

But...

Overall, this is going to be one of the best automobiles you could ever contemplate purchasing.

It will only appreciate in value over in the future.

No, it's not brand new, it's unrestored and 55 years old. It will require care and maintenance just like any other car. It is very easy to work on and the parts are readily available and are inexpensive. Any gas station mechanic can work on a Chevrolet V8.

Don't bother asking your wife...Asking for forgiveness is much easier than asking for permission.

PS- I do have the hard-top for this car. It is unrestored. I am not including it with the car.
