This car is an excellent driver. It will run a mid to low 12 with ease and cruise at 1800 rpms in Overdrive all the way home. That said, it is a driver quality body that looks good but was definitely an older resto showing it's age. I would rate a 7 - 7.5. It looks like a 9.5-10 at night at the cruises and gets nothing but compliments and attention.
The car will need a few things to get it finished up. Off the top of my head. Dash lights, wipers and wiper motor, radio, backseat is included but needs to be recovered and redone. It could use some weather stripping here and there but I have it to include new in the package. The car should be looked at in person before deciding you want it. There is some work to be done but overall it's a bad ass Chevelle that is very tame and easy to drive but absolutely rips and gets tons ofrespect.
I have this car priced pretty reasonably. The drive train is solid and makes power. I have receipts for the motor and trans that equal close to $10k. Compare this car to similar priced Chevelles with small blocks or low horsepower and low compression Big blocks out of motor homes. This is the real deal.Underneathis clean, all fresh and no crusty old worn out and rustycomponents. It fires right up and drives all day and any distance in comfort. It's quiet and tame when driving around until you step on it. If this car didn't have cosmetic concerns and had better body and paint it would be a $25-30k car no problem. So if you choose to restore the body down the road you will only be making aninvestment.
Please message me with any questions you may have. Don't hesitate to look at the car. Most importantly, DON'T WASTE MY TIME! If you're not serious please don't pretend you are. I am a private individual and not a dealer of any sort. I have the clear title in hand for the car. There is a $500 deposit due through Paypal. You will need to pay cash when picking up. If you want to pay with a Cert Check it will need to clear in my bank before releasing the car. That is just the way it needs to happen.
thanks for looking.
