Rare 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu .
Rare two tone color combination. Barn find. Was in storage for 20 years .
For sale is this very rare 4 door Chevelle. We found this car in a barn where it had been stored for 20 years. We replaced most of the basic engine parts and lines this spring. This car is on the road and runs and drives great. Interior is all original. Engine is all original . This is a perfect candidate for a full restoration. Body is solid. Floor pans solid. Trunk is solid. We took out the old carpet and painted the floor with Por 15 and put in new carpet.
The two tone car color matches the original paint code letters. It appears as if it was repainted one time in the 80s . The body is straight and solid with one small dime sized rust hole on the rear left quarter. It does not appear to have ever been driven in salt . The PO told me it was his grandmothers that he inherited. The car never left the local upstate area and was in the same family it's entire life.
Power Drum Brakes. Power Steering. New brake lines. New fuel lines. New brake master cylinder. Rebuilt steering column. Vintage Crager Keystone wheels. New exhaust system. New 4bbl Rochester Carburetor . New plugs and points. New wires. New hoses.
