1961 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210 Bel Air Description

Decided to sell this beautiful 1961 Bel Air. It has a great professional paint job about 5 years old and still looks stunning. Interior was redone at the same time, seats, headliner and carpet. Door panels are original. Tires are new. Chrome bumpers and grill are great. I have checked the usual places to rust and there is no sign of any repairs ever done. This car was sold new in Sudan, Texas and spent most its life in the area.I do have matching fender skirts to go with the car if someone prefers that look. Trunk is excellent and has new floor matting.
All gauges work except gas gauge. Missing car jack. Drive this car home. Have clear title in my name. Odometer reads 55,500 miles. I cannot verify that is original, but, the condition of the car makes me think that it is. Cash when picking up car and title or bank wired transfer if not in person. Any questions call Gary 402-873-7410

Car could use a valve job. Rear cylinder has lower compression. Mechanic said looks like burnt valve caused by stuck manifold heat valve. I have a replacementexhaust manifold for it. The local machine shop said $300 for them to grind valves and install new hardened valve seats. If you are mechanical and can remove the head, not that big a deal. Car runs fine just not a perfect slow idle like I would want. Does not foul plugs. Just want to be honest to bidders and not hide anything. Still a great running car and a looks great.

I had a request for pictures of underside. I should have taken them because the underside is absolutely rust-free and solid. I would not have a chance to update with these pictures before the end of auction, but, I am being totally honest in stating that the underside looks great! Actually is fairly clean also.
