1966 Chrysler Newport Description

If you want a powerful, great running car but don't care how it looks, this is your car! Park it anywhere without being careful, hop in and blow the doors off most other cars on the road. This thing is a sleeper! It has piles of torque! 383 big block backed by a 727 automatic. The engine runs perfectly and the trans shifts solid! Smoky burnouts on command! The power brakes work fantastically! e-brake works, blinkers work and they cancel. All lights and gauges work except for the fuel gauge. The horn ring is in the back seat and is perfect but dirty, nice chrome. No squeaks or rattles at all in this car. This car runs solid! The steering feels perfect and the alignment is dead-on. Doors open and close perfectly solid. The windshield has a crack but all other glass is perfect. The interior is decent but dirty. I have never cleaned it in my 3 years of ownership. I have the hubcaps and they will go with the car! I also have the fender skirts and those will go with the car too. I will put them back on before the auction is over. I originally intended to pull the motor & trans and put them in a Dart and I was going to part the rest of the car out. I no longer have the need or the space or the time, but that is why the skirts, horn ring and hub caps are off. All of the trim on the car is in excellent condition. There are a couple dents on the body and obvious trunk lid damage. The mileage stated is ACTUAL according to the title and has not flipped. Lack of interior wear, pedal wear and the newness of the feel driving this car back this up. Please ask any questions you need.

Payment is to be made by wire transfer ONLY. There are absolutely NO exceptions to this method. No deposit is necessary but payment is expected within 3 days of the end of the auction. Please bid only if you have the money on hand and only if you intend to pay within the 3 days.

I can recommend a very reliable, low cost transport service if the high bidder should need one. Just let me know. Thank you.
