1966 Chrysler Imperial Description
They only built approximately 750 of these in 1966 and it is the last year for this Body. 105,000 Miles onOriginal Engine, Transmission, Rear end. Starts good ( cold blooded) runs smooth drives good. needs new tires. It has a set of older bias ply on it. Glass is all good. Top has one very small tear in it on the sail panel area. The body was repainted in 1978. It is black ( originally off white). The seats were re-upholstered and the carpet and top were replaced in 1979 and are in very good condition. the door panels and dash are original and are doing very well. It is the correct gold colored interior but the seats were leather and are now Vinyl. interior overall is very good. Exterior does shine up when polished but could use a repaint. Only rust that is visible is starting to come through oh the lower quarter panels near the rear bumper. The chrome on the entire car is original and doing well. Gas tank was recently removed, cleaned and installed . fuel line was blown out, new rubber hoses were put in place where applicable and an extra fuel filter ( clear ) was added to make sure nothing gets through to the Carb. Full tune up was done last spring. Car has been driven about 100 miles this year. Please see the Video of it on you tube.
