1930 Chrysler Model 77 Roadster Beautiful car
1930 Chrysler Other Description
175 miles on restoration. Engine transmission and rear differential were rebuilt. Body off. frame painted to a nice driver quality finish. The car was driven 175 miles in the first few months after the restoration was complete and was parked in a heated museum for 9 years. the Gas and radiator were drained before storage making it very easy to bring it back to life. It starts and runs very good and the brakes work well. everything was looked over and checked out. The only mechanical thing that comes to mind is that the seals in the shocks are bad and need replaced so the shocks can be filled with oil. It has Love joy knee actions on it and should be able to be serviced. The body was painted two tone Black and Silver with the Red dividing line and wheels. In 1930 Chrysler offered to factory paint the model 77 any color combination the customer requested as an added incentive to help sell bring in customers. So the paint scheme could plausibly be correct. Either way, this Model 77 is a very attractive car with these colors on it. Same owner since the 1970's here in the Spokane area. The step pads to the rumble seathave the correct "77" logo and the hubcaps are very good with very nice Chrome. I have a video of it on you tube and I cannot find my link to it. please use search words 1930 model 77 Chrysler. and it should pop up. please feel free to ask questions if you have any. 5O9.939.4O39 Darren
