1949 Chrysler New Yorker Highlander Convertible 19,933 Miles! Barn Find, The Original owner of the car passed away approximately 20 years ago and this car has been stored in the barn and undriven. The last time the car was Driven and Registered on the Road was in 1996. The Original Owner spent over 5,500 on a Customized Convertible top as seen on the car in the pictures. I purchased this car and had a Flat bed deliver the car to my home. The only thing I did was wash the car and vacum the interior. The Car Does Not Run, I felt the best thing to do was to offer it for sale and the person that buys this car can have their own mechanic service the car into running condition. The paint is Original its a flat black with some areas of wear or fade to the paint. In the First Picture after a Good Wash you can see how the Car really Looks Great! There are some dings and dents in the car and some areas of rust but overall the car looks great and is very sound. The Interior: Drivers seat has some tears in it and looks like the original owner used black tape to cover some of the rips in the seat. The back seat is in Really Nice condition. The Interior Drivers door maybe missing some plaid since the other door has plaid on it? Local Pick up Only. Just Outside of Saratoga Springs NY.
