I added additional pics today and have a few more to add. There is a rust spot forward of the right rear wheel where the skirt mounts as part of a dent I will show the dent and rust. also the former owner removed some of the paint on the inside trunk lid where this was done there is surface rust. I removed the carpet/ liner from the trunk today to show that the trunk is solid with some minor surface rust. most of this is where you see in the trunk picture. under the convertible top rear slope where the top is ripped. This car was stored indoors almost since new with the exception of the last few months. although I have covered it with a canvas cover where it has been sitting at a service facility someone always seems to have to remove the cover for a look. and then they don't recover it until I get back to it. The paint on most of the car is original and getting thinner on the hood and trunk lids. with little chips out on both. I have no intention of misleading anyone about her in any way. one last thing I think the old owner bumped his garage door with the right fender and door somewhere back a few years ago. He attempted to bump it back out Its close but it is still there. he did not use any filler he just tried to straighten it. see the pictures. Ps on the highway this car drives very well as well as around town. It rolls easily smoothly and seemingly effortlessly This is not a show car It is a really nice sunny day car that could be an easy!!!! restoration floor pans are good rails are good trunk floor is solid. Chrome work is all solid but the bumpers could use a rechrome. roof supports are still black painted and have no rust on them interior chrome is in good condition except the top of the windshield which needs to be either really well cleaned and polished or rechromed. All in all I have enjoyed owning this car. Its not perfect but it is definitely not southern engineered together. Thanks Stan Kershaw
