1964 Imperial Crown 4dr hardtop. Mopar 413 prof. rebuilt, balanced. Black Beauty
1964 Chrysler Imperial Description
1964 Imperial Crown. Complete car. All glass, trim, detail is in place. The interior is toast but I have had the rear seats recovered in black vinyl. 1964 was the last year for the push button automatic. Classic luxury, the Imperial was the most luxurious car of it's day but that day has long past. This car is a project to be sure but has it's original 413 "wedge" Mopar engine professionally rebuilt and balanced with all new parts including Hughes "whiplash" camshaft and NOS aluminum pistons. The heads were rebuilt using hardened valve guides for use with modern ETOH fuels. The car has all engine peripherals rebuilt or replaced including the radiator, heater core, power steering pump and box, water pump, fuel pump and has Edelbrock intake and carburetor. The car also has a custom built dual exhaust with 4 mufflers, Hurst Dazzler wheels and custom billet wheel adapters. The car runs great and drives and stops. The original 727 leaks and slips in reverse. This is a numbers matching Imperial and all original parts as well as ALL new parts for the brakes are included. Feel free to ask any questions but please, no Nigerian princes with cashiers checks. The car is "as is, where is" and is located in Portland, Oregon. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
