1991 Chrysler Lebaron Convertible. V6, Automatic, cruise control, runs well.
1991 Chrysler LeBaron Description
For sale is my Chrysler Lebaron convertible. I bought this car in July and have probably put about 3,000 miles on it.Automatic, power windows and locks, cruise control.Overall it runs and drives well. However, it does have some known issues. Please read the full ad before responding.Known problems: odometer does not work. I do not know if it happened right after I bought it, since I reset the trip meter after purchasing it, and it rolled to .3 miles and then stopped. The odometer reads 129,000 and some odd miles. It uses some oil. I'm not sure how much, but I did add a little here and there. The cigarette lighter does not work. There are two tears in the convertible top, currently covered with black guerrilla tape. The radio just stopped working when I last took it through the car wash. The trunk, I believe, opens with the key only. The exhaust is broken from when I bumped the tailpipe on a curb when backing up. It broke right in front of the catalytic converter. A muffler shop quoted me $40 - $100 to fix it (a rough estimate without taking it up on the hoist), but they weren't able to get me in right away and I ended up picking up a new car soon afterward. The car is drivable as is, but fairly loud, mostly just when accelerating. One quarter window does not work (currently taped in the up position). Based on the forums, it is a cable and not a motor issue, since you can hear the motor running and trying to lift the window. The window can be brought up and down manually. All the other power windows and power locks work. The convertible top works, and there is a cover, in great condition, that fits over it when it is down. One headlight and the reverse lights need to be replaced.I drove this car on a loop through the Upper Peninsula, Minnesota,Wisconsin, etc. with no problems, and other longer expressway drives. It runs strong and drives smooth. As you can see in the photos, the car is overall very clean and in great condition. There is a small amount of rust along the bottom of the driver's side door. The underbody of the car is solid. The seller told me it had been garaged winters, and owned by an older relative who had passed away.I will consider reasonable offers. Thanks for looking.
