1936 Chrysler Airflow C-9 "Airflow 8" Very Rare! No Reserve!!

This is a rare and hard to find mostly complete 1936 Chrysler Airflow C-9 Airflow 8. This is a nice solid car that is not full of rust! This car was part of my father's collection and he had been gathering parts for this car for the last 6 years. Unfortunately, my father passed unexpectedly and we are having to sell off some of the cars. This vehicle appears to have it's original straight 8 engine and original transmission, and I believe it is a 3 speed transmission with Overdrive. There is an overdrive pull knob on the dash. The front and rear bumpers had just come back from the chrome shop where they were triple chromed right before he passed (do your homework, bumpers alone for this car are $2,000 each!), and were still wrapped in the cardboard until I unwrapped them for the photos. This car also has the fender skirts that go with it (another very expensive and hard to find item!) These are not cheap cars, and my starting bid is less than 1/3 of what these cars are worth in this condition! This car is also for sale locally and I will end the auction in the event it sells. The body is SOLID on this car, and it had been body worked quite extensively here and there over the last few years and it is currently in primer. All the door handles and trunk handles are there, and the hood ornament, which is VERY hard to find is also there! The wheels are 16 inch, and I have one spare wheel that comes with it. The left rear tire is shredded and will not hold air, but the other 3 tires hold air and are mot likely 40+ years old. My father had this car running about 4 years ago, but this is NOT a running/driving car. I am not sure what he was doing to it when he passed but he was working on it. I currently DO NOT have a title for this car. I am still coming across titles almost daily for his cars, in the event I find a title for this car, I will send it to the winning bidder. But for now, assume that there is NO title for it. I can help arrange shipping with this with a local shipper, let me know. Also, I can store this vehicle for up to 30 days FREE OF CHARGE if the winning bidder needs. The Airflow is currently inside and will remain inside in a climate controlled shop.
