1955 Chrysler Other Description

1955 Chrysler Windsor Deluxe 2 Door Hardtop. Matching numbers 301 poly motor with 36k original miles. Excellent running and driving car. Entire dual exhaust system has been replaced and boy does it sound good!! Car has been lowered close to the ground with brand new 20" Boss wheels hiding behind the fenders. This car has a great stance to it giving it an aggressive look. I have owned a lot of cars but none of them get more attention than this one. If you are looking for a head turner and want to stand out everywhere you go then this is the car. Warning, be prepared to spend extra time answering questions and hearing stories of days gone by. This car cruises down the road easy at 65-70 mph. I have had it on the interstate doing 75 and it handled great even though it only has a two speed automatic transmission. Very smooth riding car even though it has been lowered, just be careful for the potholes because you will feel them. If you are looking for a car that will make the wheels spin and smoke the tires then move on. With only 188hp there won't be any of that but surprisingly for a car that is over 17ft long and weighs over 4000lbs it does get up and run. The interior is in really nice condition. I just replace the door panels and the carpet is new. I also just added 4 seat belts. All black interior with "Very Rare" gold trim package. This car is a driver not a show car. The paint is in very good condition for its age, it has a great shine to it. It seems to have had some paint work if not a repaint back in the 80's when the original interior was replaced. All of the gauges work along with the lights and wipers. This is a very Fun, Rare, and Reliable car for someone looking for a priceless piece of history.
