1939 Chrysler Imperial C23 Coupe Description

This is the model that never had a back seat, the trunk goes to behind the front seats.
The car has not been on the road for decades and was once a Gasser Drag Race Car.
Looking at the two off set holes in the hood it looks to once be Hemi Powered. It is now powered by a stock 1972 318 with unknown miles. It has stainless steel headers and a new Holly 4 barrel on a cast iron factory 4V intake. 727 transmission, GM (Camaro) front suspension, GM 10 bolt rear.
The previous owner was in the process of building a Rat Rod and it is a running project. The car starts right up and will yard drive, but it is not road worthy. It has an electric radiator fan, and has been converted to 12 volt.
The sheet metal is very solid. I have some chrome trim but have not inventoried what is there.
Evidence of the rat rod build is here with gate hinges, hardware store bought handles, etc. The car could be turned into a long term project as a high dollar hot rod, made back into a Gasser or finish as a drive-able and rare Mopar Rat Rod. No matter what, you would likely always be the only guy around with this car. There are very few left.
Only 7,000 of these were built in several configurations, and reportedly there are only 4-5 of these known to still exist. This seems to be the only one left with the large trunk option.
I am open to trades, but I do not have time for any projects. Anything of value will be considered, but I am not going to trade down in value unless you make up the difference in cash.
Current there is no title, but a clean title can be obtained. The car is from a state that did not have titles, so it never had a title and has not been registered for a long time. If you need a title you can get one and it is relatively easy, just time consuming. I will be getting a title for it if it does not sell soon.
