1962 Chrysler 300 Series Description

Survivor killer 1962 Chrysler 300 Sport with factory 413 dual fours in good running condition. Red with red leather interior, original paint, no rust anywhere.... this is a true 300 Sport... special ordered and factory equipped with 415 horsepower 413, inline four's, solid lifter cam, adjustable rockers, 12 inch brakes, anti sway bar, heavy duty suspension, 3.23 sure-grip, 15 inch wheels, 150 speedometer and dual exhaust. A handful of these cars were made as they were basically a 300H without the console and four bucket seats and not often seen. Bud Faubel had one as did Andy Granatelli and Hot Rod Magazine's Ray Brock. This is a running and driving car..... this thing will smoke any 440 car and give any hemi car a run for it's money. I found the car in the high desert of Utah sitting in a shed where it was stored and was raced many years ago at the salt flats and blew away Norm Thatcher's flying mile 392 hemi head 300D speed record. It still has vintage Goodyear racing salt flat tires on it. I rebuilt everything on it, engine, trans, brakes, new exhaust, all gauges work, dash pad is perfect, body is real straight..... car has great patina, interior is good with a few tears here and there, chrome is decent, radio and clock delete. If car sells, I prefer bank deposit or wire with 500.00 non refundable Paypal deposit to insure serious buyer........thank you and if any questions........ call....... 425 2one9 3663. Sold as is.
