heres a 1969 chrysler newport convertible i bought a few years ago from the second owner the car was purchased in st pete florida and has always been a florida car ive had it in the garage since ive owned it the odometer quit on the way to daytona turkey rod run past weekend its showing 37k speedometer still works now the car was sitting in storage when i got it and was told about 15 years also that it had been repainted once i brought the car home and started on it i replaced the gas tank all new fuel system parts all new brakes and stainless lines new shocks front suspension items as well as rear this car has the optional 3 inch power drum brakes and all components new tires then started on engine new carb new aluminum water pump new power steering pump new hi output alternator the 600 dollar one as well as other things now car runs great and rides nice and stops fine now this is an a c car when i pulled compressor it was still charged i had a new 2k dollar convertible top with glass back window just done and i installed new oem carpet redid the interior in white vinyl it was brown its nice looking just a little tweeking and its done the body has some surface rust here and the but nothing crazy at all trunk good floor pans fine frame great when i found this car i was very pleased heres whats left it needs orginal air filter assy overhaul the dash assy to orginal condition no cracks in dash all good gauges work lights all function now it needs a steering wheel i have the center but the outer is cracking i have it own there to drive car now also convertible top pump system needs to be overhauled its weak and ac and heat systems will need updating i would take off now anywhere without thinking twice car runs fine and last thing is theres an exhaust leak in cross over pipe my plans were all new dual exhaust still needed now feel free to yell with questions ive found a 40 chevy i want so this one has to go a deposit is expected end of auction and your responsible for shipping or local pickup i can help be a serious buyer and this car is for sale locally its being sold as is
