1962 Chrysler Newport Convertible. Only options are power windows, tinted window and power top. Everything works perfectly on the car. I recently drove the car 90 miles with the heat on keeping me warm and no problems. It is a really well sorted car.
The paint is good and the trim is beautiful. The top is in good condition and goes up and down perfectly. The engine was rebuilt under 5K miles ago and s tight and reliable. The transmission shifts the smoothest I've ever felt in one of the Chryslers of this era. No clunk at all (which they all seem to do).
I bought the car from its third owner I was told who drove the car regularly and kept it super reliable. I drove the car a few weeks ago on a chilly sunny day with the top down. The radio works and the heat was ample.
I believe the car to have all of its original sheet metal and it is correct to the data plate inside the door jamb.
EBay only permits 24 pictures of the car for a private seller but I have dozens more including close ups of the rockers, fenders and undercarriage.
Just in time for the warm weather, a home purchase is forcing the sale of this and a couple other cars from my personal collection.
