1929 Fargo Packet 1/2 ton pick up. Restored 30+ years ago. Rebuilt motor and all mechanical. Numbers matching. Recent new paint $8K and new brakes and carb, tune up etc. Runs and drives without any worry. I have owned this truck since I was 12 years old. My father and I bought it from a the original owner He was a Chinese Contractor who had it custom made by Chrysler for use in China Town San Francisco. Sadly I surrendered the title with the owners name on it to Calif. DMV so I don't have current proof of previous ownership. Never had any rust except one small hole at the spare tire mount area. A new piece was welding in . Please email me if you have any questions. Like most old cars there are a few things not perfect but it shows very well. Sold ASIS Always garaged during my ownership. Ready for a new home. I hate to sell it buy I'm getting older and the kids don 't want it so it's that time. In all the years I've owned it I have never seen another. Fargo made custom trucks for different uses. The owner ordered a pick up for his contracting business and Fargo was his choice due to hydraulic brakes and large 6 cyl. (DeSoto) K62574 engine. Perfect for the hills of San Francisco. The 29 Fargos were using a DeSoto frame, engine and rear end. The fenders Plymouth, Hood Dodge etc. Note the custom tailgate? Bodied like a modern day ElCamino. Currently registered and ready to drive.
