We sell all cars as-is, which means the buyer isresponsible for any and all repairs, according to the Ohio Buyer’s Guide (includes body, mechanical, frame and interior). We do our best to describe all vehicles as accurately as possible, but keep in mind that opinions may differ and that it’sthe buyer’s responsibility to inspect the car before bidding. We advise all bidders to get a third party to check out the vehicle if they can’t make it out themselves to ensure their complete satisfaction. This must be done before bidding. When you view the pictures of the vehicle, make sure you look at them on a large screen to ensure that you can see all attributes of the car.
If the car starts and runs onto the truck, but it does not start at arrival, that is the buyer’s responsibility (cars may be damaged on a long, bouncy trip). Once the car is paid for, all buyers should put insurance on the vehicle because they now own it. We will work with your shipper or you can call Mike, our shipper, for a rate at 781-763-7447 Ext. 208. We leave all buyers positive feedback. All sales are final. All deposits are non-refundable, so please make sure you know exactly what you're buying before you bid. Our shipper will get the car to you within 4 days to 2 weeks at a fair price. If you'd like to call him for a price, that would be fine.
All cars left on our lot after 30 days will be charged $18 a day and we hope we never have to collect a dime. But we don't have enough space to store everyone's car after they're paid for. It's the buyer's responsibility to pick up their car that they just purchased. Please remember we are on the buyer's side. Please only bid if you are a real bidder who wants to purchase the vehicle, and again, if you haven't purchased 3 items over the last 3 months we will remove your bid. If you're a zero bidder and you bid at the last second just before the auction ends, the vehicle will be offered to the bidder before you and you will not end up with the vehicle, so you need to call us.
Thank you for looking at our 1955 Chrysler New Yorker Deluxe. This is an absolutely beautiful car. This is a true survivor from 1955. The title is clean and the miles are exceeded. This car starts easily and drives 100%. It has power steering and brakes, automatic, and its easy to drive, easy to manuver and will hold 6 people. The paint on it is just so nice, we think its original because we see no signs of it ever being repainted. The interior is definitely original and the underneath of the car is very solid, just flaking a little bit, but a lot less than it should be, being that the car is 65 years old. The trunk compartment is very clean and it comes with a brush to dust the car off at car shows. If you look at all the pictures I took of this car and blow them up on a full size computer screen, you will definitely appreciate the beautiful, original condition this car is in. If you can stop by and drive it, you'll know for sure before you actually bid or buy, you'll see nice it drives and shifts. This is a hemi motor, which was an option back in the day. That adds a lot of value to the car and a lot of smoothness in the car's performance. The motor sounds perfect, no misses or anything. It's just amazing how nice it sounds. The exhaust is 100% quiet. The brakes are to the top but they will need to be serviced because when the cars sit, they develop a little bit of rust on the drums. So the drums and brake pads will need to be cleaned to make the car 100% safe to drive anywhere. The battery is good, but its weak. So if you don't start the car for a couple weeks, it may start or it may not. That's why a new fresh battery would help. The driver's window has a hairline crack in the middle which may or may not be seen in the pictures. The rest of the windows are perfect. You need to see the car to appreciate how nice it is. Anybody who wants a cool car to drive this summer with their whole family would definitely get a blast out of this car!
