1951 is the first year for the Chrysler Imperial Convertible and with only 650 produced this restored beauty is a rare gem. This cream colored cruiser was ordered with several nice options including power steering, power windows and power assist convertible top. With spacious interiors these were comfortable cars to drive. 1951 was also the first year that Chrysler offered the Hemi engine that put out 185 h.p. and combined with the Fluid Torque Drive Semi-automatic Transmission this was a precursor to things to come. Optional Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels with wide whitewall tires add true elegance. If you are looking for your first 50's convertible, this is a great classic. This 1951 Chrysler Imperial Convertible is a rare Mopar collectible.
