Up for auction is my 1970 Chrysler Imperial barn find. This car is original and unrestored. It only has 22,000 miles on it. It was purchased in 11/69 by an older couple who had it serviced at the local Chrysler dealer until 1987 when they sold it to her nephew he drove it for a while and stored it in 1987. It was in storage from 1987 until 2015. After the nephewpassed away his son inherited it. I purchased it in March of 2016. I have the original bill or sale, Window sticker, all the service records, the broadcast sheet and the owners manual. The car did not run when I got it. I had to replace the fuel tank, sending unit, all the rubber fuel lines, rebuild the carburetor and have a valve job done. (there were 3 stuck valves from sitting) It has 4 new tires.I also have the bias ply tires that were on it in 1987. This car is mostly original except for the service work done. I added a Petronix electronic ignition system. I did not cut or modify the wiring harness.According to the Chrysler Imperial Car Club the total production for 2 door hardtops in 1970 was 1803. This car is a true survivor!! The reasonI am selling it is that it is too big to fit in my garage and its too niceto leave outside!!
I will not disclose the reserve price so please don't ask. I cannot and will not ship the car anywhere. It is for local pickup only!
I reserve the right to end this auction at anytime as it is also for sale locally.
