1973 Chrysler Newport SPECIAL EDITION Description

I am listing this 1973 Chrysler Newport 4 Door Hardtop to help settle my father's estate.

Dad bought it new in 1973. He is the one and only owner. I had to put it in my name, fter my mom passed away to keep it registered and insured.

The old gal is in very nice shape. There are a few little imperfections in the paint here and there. Nothing major. Little chips, ld touch ups {from the little touch up bottle the dealers used to include with a new car purchase} and a couple of minor ripples where something fell against the car. All in all it is a 9.5 out of 10 for appearance.

The Chrysler was always garaged, ever smoked in, ever had any rust or accidents. Dad was a clean freak! She always looked like it just came from the detail shop.

The vinyl top is in excellent condition. There was a rust spot, nder it, elow the rear windshield. Dad had it repaired immediately. That was probably 20 years ago or more.

The interior is in remarkable condition. No rips, ears or damage anywhere. The interior was some special edition offered, n 1973 only, believe. Itreminds me ofIndian blankets.

The engine is a 400 CID V8 with a 2 barrel Holley carb that I just had rebuilt. You could literally eat off of this motor! It is that clean! I just replaced the alternator, uel pump, lectronic ignition, ap, otor and plugs.

I just had a set ofvery "throaty" dual exhausts installed. That ran about $500 but it sounds AWESOME! I just installed a new, row, eavy duty radiator too. It was $850.

The tires, rakes and battery are all good.

The onlyrepairs that I did not do are repair the leaky power steering return hose, eaky valve cover gaskets and charge the A/C. It is ready to drive anywhere { as long as you don't need A/C } And it has only been driven about 500 miles since 2003!

Sadly we must sell the old family car to settle the estate. The estate administrator has set the price on it at $8500 or an offer close to that.. That is what their appraiser came in at along with the recent $2500 in repairs.

The car is located in Nipomo Ca. I am 90 miles North of Santa Barbara and 10 miles South of Pismo Beach. If you would like specific pics or have questions please contact me at 805 550 8502. My name is Dana

Blessings!
