You’re looking at a gorgeous 1952 Citroen Traction Avant, with tan and burgundy exterior that perfectly matches with the same 2-tone stunning interior. The Traction Avant, which translates literally as "front-wheel drive” in French, was the world's first front-wheel drive production car using a steel unibody construction. The car you drive today was most likely built the same way!

Traction Avants are fairly robust vehicles even by modern standards. Every four years, Traction Avant enthusiasts ship or drive their vehicles to an exotic location for the ICCCR (International Citroën Car Clubs Rally). In 2002, for example, a group of more than 30 Traction Avants drove fromLos AngelestoNew York Citywithout incident. In a word, c'est magnifique!

I bought this beauty from a classic car collector, a long-time Citroën owner who has been nurturing this car throughout the years. I’ve already bought several cars from him and I am well-aware that his cars are always parked in a warehouse and meticulously maintained.

This Citroën has no rust whatsoever! The chrome, interior and exterior are in excellent condition. Imported about 15 years ago, it’s been driven on a regular basis, and also featured in numerous car shows.

Odometer shows only 45,402 original miles (73,068 kilometers). I am holding a clear Mississippi title; however, mileage is indicated as exempt on the title due to the age of the car.

Mechanical

The car has a very original drivetrain, engine and transmission. Also has new shocks, clutch, and drive shaft. It has been converted with alternator to 12V. Runs, drives, and stops as it should. This is a great driver with no issues. Everything is in working order.

Exterior

The exterior of this car is in amazing condition with nice and shiny chromes that stand out. All windows and doors open and close as they should. Undercarriage is very solid and rust-free. Overall the car is in amazing condition.

Interior

The interior is in superb condition. The headliner, dash, seats, carpet, and glass are all in great condition as if the last 65 years have never been there.

Please note, I want to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase. Bid with confidence and if you have any questions that I might not have covered in the description, don't hesitate to ask. You can email me or send me your telephone number and I will give you a call. I have tried my best to describe this vehicle as accurately as I can. People have different opinions and expectations of older cars. It is your responsibility to inspect the vehicle or send a third party inspector for your satisfaction. I always recommend doing this if you have any questions. Remember, this car is from the 1950’s and can have some imperfections that are not in the description that I'm not aware of.

Disclaimer

People have different opinions and expectations of older vehicles. It is your responsibility to personally inspect the vehicle or send a third-party inspector that will perform an inspection to your satisfaction. Remember, this vehicle is from the 1950’s, and even though I’ve tried my best to describe it, it can have some imperfections which I’m not aware of, therefore they’re not in the description.

I’m saying this because I’ve had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered! If you are buying and paying for this classic, please contact your transporter after vehicle is picked up and within 2 hours please give me a positive feedback!

This is your chance to own a great classic at a great price!
