1972 Citroën D Special Description

1972 Citroen D Special (DS21)
VIN number 01FC1252 (ebay wouldn't let me add the VI, due to it's odd number of characters I guess)

Its been in my personal collection for around 7 yrs and has been often my daily driver. I debated long & hard whether to sell it but have a Delorean, Maserati, Fiat & Renault I want to finish quicker. Its been a great car altogether.
The good:- brand new carb (shown in engine bay pic) from Belgium- have receipts & records since I've owned it- yes runs, drives, stops properly & hydraulics work as they should- added dual electric fans (as shown in pic as well) for extra cooling here in Florida for the warmer months (just like Jay Leno did on his)- starter just now rebuilt & updated- recently rebuilt & updated alternator as wel, to ensure a good charge-original spare tire-headliner is 95% clean & in good shape (back corner needs adjusting)- all gauges work fine & dash lights up-turn signals work-clear Florida title-all glass is there and uncracked-original radio is there-paint is a 10 footer I would say, although it seems it used to be some kind of parakeet green before

What needs TLC:
-floors, needs floorwork (shown in pic)-hood has a crease that needs straightening out along with hood (shown in pic)- trunk lid has a minor gash (shown in pic)- front bench seat vinyl is split in 3 areas on passenger side- although tires have thread & i didnt mind at all driving it around town like they are, they could use replacing as they're getting tired- on low torque gears, there's a sound on passenger side that sounds like its the typical french car CV joint issue but didn't affect the way it drives & i didn't mind it
Its a 45 yr old car so it will have imperfections, but I'm a car enthusiast and I drive my cars and enjoy them as they are... they don't sit around. Odometer shows 82,421 & title appears as exempt due to its age. I don't know for certain if it's the original mileage or 182K since it has a 5 digit odo. In this case, I've described the car as best as I can recall. Everyone is welcome for an inspection just message me for arrangements.I'm also selling the car locally as I have been getting offers on it already but want to try the ebay avenue as well. If the car sells locally, I will remove the listing. Any questions, feel free to message me.
