1963 Citroën Description

1963 Citroen 2CV for restoration.
(This is a re-listing from earlier this month. Bid winner did not respond.)

Two cylinder Model AZ, 425cc
Have valid Florida title, last titled 1977
Last registered for highway use 1986.
Garaged and driven around the block annually since then.
Odometer shows 39,696 Km (24,665 mi.) (But it could be 139,696 because 2-CVs run forever!).
Sold as-is; no guarantee/warranty.
Not currently road-worthy due to poor brakes and electrical.

"THE GOOD"
This is one of those famous French "Deux Chevaux".
Engine runs -- started and idled today.
See link for video of driving it around the block:

Good top.
Battery only a year old (6-volt system).
Good tires, and two spare tires and rims will be included.
Body is sound -- not a lot of rust.

"THE BAD"
Needs total repaint.
Battery not charging. Not sure if it is the generator or voltage regulator problem.
Brakes need work.
No turn signals.
Hood hinge under windshield rusted out.
Cracked windshield.
-- (I recently bought a new replacement windshield and rubber gasket available for $150 extra.)
Frame straps under trunk wrinkled from backing into garage wall.
Rear bumper detached, but included.
U.S. headlights not original. Lights need new connections.

AND "THE UGLY"
See photos.
