1970 Datsun Z-Series Description

Early vin series 1 Datsun 240z.
Excellent condition and recently restored. The car drives tight and well on the southern California canyons where it really feels at home.
I purchased the car from a guy in San Diego. As far as I know it’s been a California car it’s whole life.
The car has been repainted to a beautiful silver and shows even better in person. I have a full set of pictures and documentation of the body work that was done. It is very good, but not a perfect concourse level paint job.
The drivetrain is a original 2.4 liter motor with a E31 head, which is a rarity to have by itself. The motor is not original to the car as when I bought it, the car had a 2.8. The 4 speed 3 piece transmission is original and fully rebuilt. It runs really well and shifts perfectly. Since the installation and rebuild the car has about 4K miles on it.
