1970 Datsun Z-Series Description

Up for sale is my 1970 Series 1 240Z in its original Monte Carlo red (the most rare first year color option). This is the color combination you want--red over a near flawless black interior. The car rides on its original, deep dish magnesium wheels (a dealer option at the time) with all new Kumho tires. All original gauges and instruments work as they should. Windows roll up and down with no issues. Carpets are new. Original seat belts. Original blue plate, California car (NO RUST). Never in an accident--factory gaps are all perfect (new rubber seals). Car was repainted and refreshed by Nissan and garaged since.
At the time the car went through Nissan's refreshment program, the engine was also rebuilt. Does not leak or burn oil. NO SMOKE AND TIGHT SEALS throughout. This car was signed by Yoshihiko Matsuo (head of Nissan 240z design team). I am the second owner, the first owner being a cardiologist from Newport Beach.
This car runs and drives beautifully. This is a CA well-maintained Z. Brakes work perfectly and a refreshed suspension make this a perfect addition to any collection. Wife says must go.
