1979 Datsun Z-Series GL Description

1979 Nissan/Datsun 280zx black and gold edition. This was the first year of the 280zx and this is a great survivor car. I am the second owner, I purchased the car from the original owner who took extremely good care of the car. Always garaged and kept well. This car was unmolested, still has all of it's factory accessories. Unbelievably everything in the car still works from the electric side mirrors to the cruise control. The engine had over 200,000 miles on it when I purchased the car so I replaced the engine with a new long block purchased from ZCARSOURCE. The new engine has approximately 7000 miles on it. I still have the original engine on an engine stand however it needs to be rebuilt. The original engine goes with the car in the sale. All of the struts were replaced on the car along with all new brake calipers, rotors and pads. I installed an electric auxiliary fan in front of the radiator but had to install a K&N cone air filter to accommodate the fan. I still have the factory airbox and air filter for the car. There is no body rot on the car she is very solid. She drives like a dream and is quick and responsive, light to the touch. I have two sets of the original rims, there are brand new tires on the car. The headliner and carpet kit are also new. There will be a new set of seat covers installed on the car prior to the end of this auction. They look exactly like the originals pictured in this ad however they are new and fresh. Please take a close look at the pictures. She is a nice survivor car with a lot of life left in her. I strongly recommend any potential buyer to come and inspect and drive the car. This is a cash and carry purchase at my local bank, I have the title free and clear.
