1979 Datsun 280ZX. Beautiful car with Clean Title. Runs great! Z Series
1979 Datsun Z-Series 280zx Description
I have several Z cars, and have decided to sell them off. This is a 1979 Datsun 280ZX. The owner before me had the car reupholstered and painted, and the car looks very nice! Very good shine. The paint job is good, but it is not a show car. You can see paint and body work flaws when the light is right. The only signs of rust are around the rear wheels where it is just starting to show small rust areas. Photos of that are are included. Underneath all looks well as far as I can see. Floor pans look totally solid. I parked the car in my garage for several years, and when I finally went to get it back out there were of course many issues. That is why I decided to sell it. I did have the gas tank flushed, put on a new alternator, had the entire engine head redone, and now the car is running great again. Cars do not like to sit. I just put over $2000 in to the car, and I am not aware of any problems at this time. I have been driving it for about 6 months, and it drives and shifts great! It has a five speed manual transmission. The only thing that I have noticed was that when I got the car the A/C was ice cold. The A/C does not seem to want to come out of the dash vents right now, so that could use a little attention. Other than that the car is very reliable, and I would feel safe driving it most any place. The tires are all good, the gauges are all good, the lights are all good, the glass is all good. The interior looks very nice. There is new carpet in the front, and it is still quite nice. There is a small cut on the left side of the back of the driver's seat. There is something inside of the seat that hits the cover when you get in to the car. It is a small cut, and you just have to sit right on the seat rather than sliding down the side of the back rest. There is a stereo in the dash that works, but it is nothing special, and the trim around the stereo is missing. The trim panels across the back of the car, and on the driver's side rear are also missing. The odometer just turned over 50,000 miles, but I have no idea if it is accurate or not. It works just fine, but there is no way to know if it has turned over or not. Car does have a clean title in my name, and is ready to go! That's all I can think of! Please let me know if you have any other questions!
