1954 DeSoto Description

This is a rust free California car with original paint.
Factory options include the following: air conditioning
wire wheels
electric windows
power steering
power brakes
Powerflite automatic
radio
windshield washers
These options in a 2 door H.T. are very rare.
The car came from California about 30 years ago, hen sat in a dry storage until I bought it 2 years ago.
Since then I have done a lot of mechanical work on it.
renewed gas tank
carb rebuilt
new brakes, omplete with cylinders
new lines and hoses
repaired wiring
rebuilt starter
rebuilt all electric window motors
new alum. radiator, omeone stole the original one
It still needs some things done to be able to go long distance. The paint is all original except for a couple of places that were touched up years ago. It doesn't have any rust, loors are solid. The interior is original, ut needs work. I have a new green headliner for it (not installed). All the glass is original and excellent. The front seat has a seat cover, he rear seat cushion is original but needs some repair. The rear back is original and fairly decent.
