1956 DeSoto Adventurer Description

One of 996 built, nbsp;this black and white De Soto is in the correct factory original color combination. Restored 20 years ago, t presents and drives very well. With dual 4 barrel carburetors and 320 horse power the recently resealed torqueflite automatic shifts nicely and is controlled by push buttons.I drove it 500 miles last week without drama at 70 mph. Master cylinde, nbsp;power brake booster and fuel pump, nbsp;were rebuilt recently.The car is completely stock, nbsp;drives well, nbsp; and uses no oil. Oil pressure and water temperature are at mid range. Electric wipers work well, nbsp;although blades should be replaced.Tires are older bias ply, nbsp;but without age cracking due to indoor storage. Shocks are good.Odometer miles are most likely the miles accumulated since restoration.
After purchase, nbsp;I'm willing to keep the car in secure storage for a month or two.Title can be sent ahead. Pick the car up and dive it home when you're ready for a springtime trip.Sorry to see it go, nbsp;but it's time to reduce the collection.
