In the tradition of fine Italian automobiles, MotoeXotica Classic Cars offers this 1973 De Tomaso Pantera you see before you with aftermarket GTS trim and a GT5. The Pantera was a sports car produced by the De Tomaso car company of Italy from 1971-91 with the last Pantera delivered in 1992. Several modifications were made for the second year of Panteras. A new four-bolt main Cleveland V8 engine from Ford was used but with more aggressive camshaft timing. Many other engine changes were made, including the use of factory exhaust header.

Pantera popularity continues to skyrocket, and we have another GT5 flared example in our showroom ready to hit the open road! This particular Pantera is a California car through and through and was garaged by the same owner for the last 13 years.

This Pantera you see before you has the aggressive aftermarket GT5 trim and is a fine steel-bodied coupe. The yellow exterior is in great condition, and mechanically this car runs incredibly. The interior is black leather with yellow accents. An aftermarket Clarion six CD player has been installed. The De Tomaso Ultra wheels are wrapped in massive tires measuring P275/40ZR17 (front) and P315/35ZR17 (rear).

Under the hood, the engine is pure American: the thoroughbred 351-4V Ford V8. Put this along with the Italian design together, and you have something special – superb Italian automotive engineering with a well-known American engine. The engine is mated with a gated five-speed manual transmission, and there is an updated braking system and Carrera shocks.
