1971 Detomaso Pushbutton Pantera
1971 De Tomaso Pantera Description
For sale is a 1971 Detomaso Pushbutton Pantera in excellent condition. The first 75 Panteras that Ford imported were Pushbutton cars and were built by hand at Detomaso's shop in Vignale, Italy. The subsequent 5000 or so Panteras were all made at the new factory in Modena. This Pushbutton Pantera starts, runs, shifts, and drives great. The engine retains it original closed chamber cylinder heads and when coupled with its hydraulic roller cam and other pictured upgrades it produces 500 horsepower. The car's original Type 1 ZF transaxle is the same unit used in some versions of the Ford GT40 race car. The suspension is milled from 2.5" 7075 alloy billtet plate and is likely the best available for Panteras. The interior is covered in beautiful gray leather. Everything works on the car including the air conditioning. Clear title and current California registration. I am helping Steve Wilkinson advertise the car. Please let me know if you have questions about the car or call Steve directly at Panteras By Wilkinson.
Please see the Hemmings website for a video of the car.
