1974 Pantera GTS. This was an original owner car until 2015. Second owner since. The mileage is original & easily verifiable. The car comes with an extensive photo documentation album complete with receipts showing refreshment. Complete work done at Pantera Miami. The paint is gorgeous, the interior is beautiful/original. Tires/rims are born on this car, as is engine/transaxle. New Borg & Beck clutch pack, tune up items, original 4350 carburetor [refreshed] & original intake manifold & EGR plate, the motor needs nothing, it has less than 900 original miles. Original tight exhaust. No funny noises, no drips, no leaks. Paint is a 10. No scrapes, no dings, nothing. No rust ever.
Mechanically the original calipers are fresh, the original radiator was rodded out of sulfation & growth, the tubes are now excellent. New temperature switches work as new, 185/195. Original fans run at great speed as they are new. The car does not run hot, the car stops adequately as the original calipers are fresh as well. ALL possible old or breakdown items are refreshed.
Original glass, born with drive train guaranteed. Runs/drives like new. Perhaps the lowest mileage GTS in the world. There is one out there with a few less miles, but it was crunched when new. You can't hide that from the internet now-a-days.
Pantera prices are rising as we speak. Mecum Kissimmee saw a drop-dead gorgeous chrome bumper '72 (that WE built here at Pantera Miami) that sold for close to $137K with fees. A world record for a chrome bumper car. It was a perfect stage appearance with EFI, power steering, bright modern lighting, powerful engine & a/c system that blows ice. All the stars were aligned for a perfect ~high dollar~ sale.
With regard to the GTS models in general, if you can in fact find a GTS for sale, there aren't any right now, expect to pay ~at least~ $125k. If the car is sorted out & updated, add 20,30,40k from there. It will have light miles, it will have history, photo documentation & lots of receipts in a presentation album. That's the way we build them.
A 110,000 Km [roughly 60k mile] silver '73 GTS sold in Europe sold at auction last year for over $160k & it was not a restored show car. This example is. That being said, what would you place as a value on a real 895 original mile documented car?
